I will be reporting ice conditions for IBP on this thread. Please keep the comments here about IBP. If you report ice conditions here or on any other thread please remember that safety is the first concern.

Hey Rob G, appreciate you doing the reports off of ibp. Wondering if you would be able to let us know the pricing for parking this year, it can't be any better than last year but a reminder of the pricing would be great

Robg, sucks, but it is what it is... Great to hear reports from the other side of the lake. IBP area is what I was targeting for early season Whities. Seems that it will be a while before those grounds are open for ice fishing. Keep up the updates bro! We are all watching ice progress...

The warm weather and rain this weekend will not work to our favor. No safe ice. At least another 2 weeks once temps go back down below zero. I'm doubtful that we will get any good ice at IBP this season. Lets keep our fingers crossed. For now be patient.

Jan 9 , 2020. There is a skim of ice. Lake Simcoe skimmed over last night. THE ICE IS NOT SAFE TO GO ON FROM IBP. That's the good news. The bad news is that the ice will be gone again. The warm weather and rain will make that ice disappear. Do not go out on the ice at IBP. IT IS NOT SAFE!!!!.

Ok things are not a total loss. The weather is now supposed to favour ice formation from here on in. As long as the winds cooperate, the lake should skim over again. We might be able to get out by the end of Jan. For now IBP is not safe. Please stay home. I will keep you updated as things happen.
