I have today's last ice report ready , this will be the first of many , tomorrow hopefully everyone that has no business at the end of Gilford Rd will be gone and it will just be us , last ice ice fisherman . I feel more comfortable when know ones watching me from there lakeside home or the locals that hang at the end of the road. when there not around , then i do my best work.

Hi Peter new to the forum and I love it. I was wondering if I would be able to get out on foot with no worries about pissing anyone off? Where would it be safest spot to park my vehicle?

Peter I look forward to seeing what's coming out of the bay as I haven't had much luck since earlier in the season when I gave you that coffe at chins.... I'm coming up Tuesday again and maybe you will be out there fishing yourself? _ _ _ _ all those idiots and let's enjoy some fishing. Let me know what time you'll be out there so I can bring another coffee

Based on the events of yesterday more reason to watch the reports . Its a big lake out there, cbfb only covers a little bit of it , in a month will be a very precarious time for ice fisherman . The ice is safe now but there will come a time some people will take chances when last ice arrives, its a big concern.

Peter. Thanks for all that you do. We did great yesterday. Seeing as we had a long wait to get off the ice. Keys locked in at 1pm. The other set arrived at 7:45. We finally hit land at 7:57. We brought home 29 perch and 1 crappie. The other 5 crappie were smaller but they are coming. We even caught a herring that went back pretty quickly. The meet and great sounds great for Saturday. See you all there.
