Hi, My name is Harold, I live in Dunnville, Ontario. Last year was my first year ice fishing, and man am I hooked. My cousin and I already own between the two of us, a power auger, a vexilar flasher, a hut, and we are hoping to get a gps, before we get ice this year. I came up to Simcoe 3 times last year. We only targeted perch last year, but this year hope to get into some whitefish. Look forward to sharing information with all of you.

In Gilford at Cook's Bay. We went out January 1st, and caught a ton of perch, the other two times were in late February, and we did not make out so well those times.

Hi Peter! Looks like you've been busy slammin plywood together when your not slammin those fish in the Bay! Your mini town on ice should look real good out there and should produce many memories for years to come! For those lucky enough to rent one. Hope to see lots of C.B.F.B. hats out there this winter! Later Dude. Terry

Hello again from Michigan. Glad to be back and to see all the GREAT changes to the site Pete. The Average Joe and Message Board are nice touches to your already informative web site. Well.... if you guys haven't already noticed, my name is Jeff and I write to you from the Metro Detroit Area in Michigan. Just to give you a little background, I have been a regular of Pete's for 2 hard water seasons now and look forward to many more visits to come. You can see a pic of our group in the Picture gallery on icecabins.com. I'm the guy holding the jumbo on the left in the picture with the Ford F-150 in the background. Can't wait for the hard water to get here and look forward to seeing you for first ice this year Pete. Keep those ice reports current when you start reporting again, I'm hoping we have fishable ice between x-mas and New Year this year for me to make a trip.

Hi my name is Mike and I am from Hamilton. I just started ice fishing and have only been to cook's bay once. We fished out of Gilford and did not catch any fish. The day was slow and no one was having much luck. I am ready this year and plan to be back quite a bit. I just found this website and you are doing a great job with it. I hope to see you on the ice soon. Mike

Hey, I've been popping into your website for a few months now and though I might as well get registered. Enjoyed your fishing escapades and look forward to coming your way this winter. From down here in warm Chatham and would like to find someone from down here who wants to head your way for some weekend fishing. Just getting back into ice fishing and last year down this way was not too good.
