This is how it is now at the launch My concept would be to double the size of the launch , extend the parking .

Here is my vision for down the road as the park will only get more congestive , this would take the presser off , the biggest boat launch in Ontario , complete with over night camping , boat washing station . ministry approved acclimatized bait distribution station , shops and restaurants .

To generate more revenue the town should install at the park a board walk with tented rental stalls for who ever wants to rent them . Make the board walk winding with flower beds , something nice you know.. This is just a draft to show the potential the park has

Peter those are some great ideas. You should run for mayor and start implementing them asap.

Peter,
Some good thinking here, but living very close by gives me a bit more insight.
Making more parking spaces will only make the park worse IMHO. The root of the problem is that is is just too popular in the summer. When all the spaces are full the park is packed with people looking for green areas by the water. Your plan takes away some of the prime area AND there is a pretty nice kids playground there as well.
It is a real pain when the place is so packed in the summer weekends and the parking close by has gotten crazy this year.
The town meeting coming up will shed some light on the near future, but the main priority should be to keep as much green as possible.
If there is to be a parking expansion it needs to be at the back of the park.... again, IMHO.
The launch needs some well posted rules and even a Marshall on busy days to direct boat in and out traffic.

Thanks for your comments , just to popular is good , offers economic independence and opportunity, not all communities can say that . Im pretty sure im not interfering with the playground area , anyways its not my intention as the lines are not to scale , it’s a draft . To the people that reside by the affected area , why not show your hospitality to our visitors , offer up parking on your property when the park overflows , get your kids to sell lemonade in front of your house , help people out anyway you can .

Do you think Jason Inwood Manger Of Operations for the Town Of Innisfill is part of the Cooks Bay Fishing Board ? He asked the town to set a side $1.099 million for improvements to Innisfill Beach Park. Some of the recommendations in the study are additional parking at the Innisfill Beach Park boat launch and improved docking facilities , Council agreed .
Sound familiar ?

This would be amazing!!!! Make it like the Barrie launch and people will be happy to pay for parking. Especially with a good launch as well. For summer and winter months that place would be hammered. Also it would make residents happy getting some cars off the side of the road I'm sure. I always feel like an ass when I start my sled up in the morning I front of people houses when I'm taking it off the trailer : / it's a two stroke
