Looks like you answered him "Perfectly" Skip.
Only thing I would suggest is "Don't" take out a bunch of decoys.
In the last couple yrs I only use 1 hen I stick her out at 20yds. This way if you get a Tom that holds up at 45-50yds "max" for me I will take the shot. Patterning your gun is "key".
I also found very little calling also works much better than a "screaming" box or slate.
1 wrong chirp and these birds are gone!
Its kinda like a nagging woman you say something at the wrong time and all you want to do is "Run"..
Lol (seriously) though, Once you got the birds attention less is better.
I find IMO if you just do a few simple purrs just as you hear the 1st Tom gobble, You grab his attention from the trees right away.
It's like waking up with a B.ner ... And your (wife/girlfriend) smiles and gives you the look. You know there is no real talking to "understand Game on"
So keep your calling to a short couple purrs and "Don't" have any skin at all showing, You will be done before the hunt even begins.
These birds see everything remember they have no sense of smell for their defense.
Hopes this helps you out also.
