Every night I sit in my house an check the computer! As I read the different posts I hear shotgun shots! And its way after 730pm. I'm really getting frustrated with the lack of responsibility from ''Shooters'' I can not call these ppl ''hunters'' No 1 needs a watch to tell you its to ''Late'' to be shooting! Hell I've looked outside an I can't see a thing!!! But I hear Bang Bang Bang!! So for now on I'm taken this is into my own hands! If I see a vehicle ''parked'' at a launch an theres ppl out on the water ''Shooting'' I'm writing down all the info and taking pictures of the vehicle and the ''Shooters'' when they come in! Enough is Enough! This ''town'' is trying to get the bay as a ''safe haven'' for the birds already! And when they have ppl out shooting well after its legal shooting time, it gives them more reason to fight against ''us'' hunters! And I am not going to give the town any more reasons why they should shut the doors to what I love to do! So If you are the said person/people doing this watch out! I will be coming for you! And ''Yes'' I have a boat and I know the bay like the back of my hand! You just never know who is out there beside you! Or watching you! Its time to Get rid of the problem and thats what I'm going to do! Sorry if you ppl think its harsh but guess what? This matter needs to be corrected before theres a whole whack of ppl doing this! Anyways its my Rant My Choice an duty as a hunter! flip

I saw some hunters shoot a swan on sat. and they thought it was a goose!!!! well the other group of guys kicked the s*&^ out of the 3 guys and well ect. ect.!!! great times to see, I mean their was 3 white one and 3 yearlings, so stupid idiots and guys where shooting at 645am, 45mins bfr legal shooting time!!!! every year I see this more and more, and I blame the dam reality shows on t.v. just like the dumb commander show, they give duck hunter and hunter a bad name and stereo type, I get ask eveytime im out, so u watch that, show!!!! ,cause cause I have a beird and long hair, and look like a bigfoot, doesn't mean I watch the show, I cant even watch 5mins of it, and the poor ducks take the blunt of it, cause I meat so many newbies that will shot cormorant and merganzers ect. just cause they flap their wings fast, doesn';t mean it a game species to hunt and eat!!! then u hear then when they get the duck, oh it a .....? I hv no idea, and I yell it's a fish duck!!!! so enjoy eating fish much LOL just a bunch of dumb a%$es!!!!! I took duck hunting off last year to get a dog so I would lose less birds aftr seeing and being told by 3 kids hunting ducks for their firstr time shooting over 30 birds and couldn't get any in 1 morning and had to come in, cause they ran out of shells!!! so I tried to get their plate #'s, but they took off aftr my brother told them what I was going to do to them!!!!! so my dog is amazing, she got a mallard 100yrds out thru thick brush in the water, wheil it was still alive!!! and brought it back no problem!!! not bad for her 2nd time out ever!!!! and these guys using #2 or #4 shot, are just wounding birds!!!! I use BB, 3.5" this way u hit them, their down!!! and u get them!!!! I hate steel shot, cause if u hit them with too small of a load, u just blow a wing off and the bird is gone!!!! sorry for the rant, but I could write a book on the things I have seen and heard in my short 12+yrs hunting ducks alone!!! here's a pic of my puppy and her 2 geese she got and a lesser scaulp / blue bill and a true amarican black duck, she is only 47lbs and just turned 2yrs old, and I feed her 4 cups a day of origin(best food money can buy!!!0 and raw turkey and chicken patties from globo pet's food store!!!for a treat aftr hunting. the dam geese were greaters too and still kicking when she swam them all in, and even carried them up the bank!!! she is so fit, I work her 1-1.5hrs a day and walk/run her for 30+mins in the morning, and she poops like 3-6 times a day( very high metabolism the vet said LOL) and she is the American breed and not the UK one, that look like mini kegs LOL

Welcome to the board ''funguy'' I've read alot of your other posts in the past.. And yes I agree with using bb when the birds are full of down feathers. I use #1 usually for my 1st shot than follow up with bb's also. I use 3-3an 1/2in shells. Minimum 1 1/4oz load Those 1 1/8oz should only be used for ''doves'' or perhaps a cripple! Not for flying birds, Anyways keep your posts coming. Maybe I will meet you out on the water 1 day hunting or fishing. flip
