hey yall!
I have lived on the keswick side of cooks for a couple years now and am very eager to get out this upcoming season for some waterfowling. I finaly have some floating decoys as i have only hunted feilds and small sloughs before so the big bay will be a new challenge. many times of being out on the bay in the winter slash summer im too into what im doing (smashing fish) to take the time to goand check out the blinds that stand at the mouth of the river and along the south shore line. Are these blinds useable, are they just small tin boat drive inns, has anyone used any specific ones last season, are there better or larger ones than others, do some of them need work, is there a possibility of putting floors in them if there isnt allready. i know so many questions right!!! well this season i will be logging some good hours and am very interested in these blinds as i know nothing about them. i was talking to Peter a couple weeks ago as he was busy fixing up one of his rigs but he mentioned FLIP might have the best knowledge of that area being into hunting and all. I have no problems putting in some $ for materials and man hours as well if anyone is interested in fixing up some of these blinds if they need it or if thats even possible lol basically i would like to be able to have the bay as a great option before spending hours scouting and getting permission to hunt birds int the area which sometimes is not granted for whatever reasons. Anyways i would greatly appreciate any information provided as i would very much like to pursue this option!
Cheers!
Ps. Im down to hunt anything anywhere!!! ;D
