There is no way that kid is 12 years old, more like 8 , They should make a law like the boaters course, it should be a must,

Sorry yes to are correct there, why do parents allow there kids to rip around on a sled like that, your only asking for trouble , Worst thing is the parent in this video was first to take off at a fast speed ,
Some people need a good lesson in life,

how can you put speed limits in the ice? I dont think cops want to do that and trash the lake if it falls through

Shame, someone will get hurt one day. Between pressure cracks, open water, huts and walkers, it's bound to happen.

Speed is a factor , maybe more police and mnr should be out on the ice trying to catch these fools, not focusing so much on the guys ice fishing and more on the morons on the sleds

dont get me started on opp and sleds. i got stopped and fined for having a pipe on my sled ,trust me it isnt loud.i have all my permits and papers in order ,riding the limit and riding responsibly on the trails and lakes . i asked myself when the last time someone died from a sled having a pipe and someone speeding with no experience. be honest with you i couldnt care less about the operator of the sled,i feel for the by standers around these tools. rant over again.lol

I dont think cops want to do that and trash the lake if it falls through thats true ahahah i didnt think of that, well in that case, yeah they should have more officers out, they should set up a radar or something in a known area and make speeding limit for the whole lake?

Durham police have charged two men with dangerous driving after they were allegedly found speeding on Lake Scugog.
It happened on Saturday around 3:30 p.m., when the frozen lake packed with fishermen, snowmobiles and pedestrians.
Officers allege the two men were driving at a speed of over 100 kilometres an hour. They were also seen doing doughnuts and sliding sideways.
The Oshawa men, who have not been named, were each charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Both were released at the scene and will later appear in court.
