When a hunter waves a blue flag what does it mean? Some boaters asked me that yesterday

I've never seen any1 do this, but my guess is to let the fisherperson or boater know that there is hunters in that area. Rules state no1 can interfere with a hunter and they must move from the area. I believe its 400yds but i not 100%. Some1 thats a hunter may have the exact yardage. flip Its in the regs. I'll look after for you.

That's a new one on me too . Must be them just warning the fisherman although some duck or goose hunters will wave a flag to draw birds in . Some use black or a white one for snows . Only ever saw it done on TV shows though.
