I was headin home from a morning of whitefish when i got to roaches pt low an behold there was a truck in the LAKE i guess he was new to area i took a look no 1 in it thankfully, they smashed out the windows in order to free themselves from it. Well i think this is a sad thing to happen to any1 however just goes to show you PAY ATTENTION to cracks not all are jumpable nor crossable, If YOU DON"T KNOW THE LAKE CHECK WITH A HUT OPERATOR OR SOME LOCALS!!! flip

Hey Walter, your comment isn't too farfteched. We had a pint sized car go through in the shallows of a western PA lake in the early 90s. The temps that winter were frigid, and within about three days the ice had firmed up around that vehicle. We didn't need GPS markings, as the tip of the antenna was just barely out of the water. The PA Fish Commission took about three weeks to get around to extracting the vehicle, but during that time it became a hotspot for big perch, crappies and gills thru the ice.
We were disheartened when they finally pulled that little red vehicle out of the ice as we had to go further to catch fish.

Clamp-it has a history of posting things that are similar to the thread but actually unrelated & not mentioning that fact.
