Right away when I got on the water I could tell why the fishing would be slow.. The bays all silted up. Murky, cloudy if you want to call it. Never did have much luck when the conditions are like that. That Orange building there on the right is your land mark if you’re leaving from Gilford.

Here’s an interesting picture…south east corner of Cook's Bay its what’s left of the ice that was on the bay just 5 days ago.. Looking north out to Lake Simcoe South looking towards Holland River brown looking,,

Remember guys and gals that what is happening now is the cycle of life or Spring. Stuff runs down hill, so what you are getting after those heavy rains is everything coming off the fields. Lots of nutrients to help make the weeds grow, plus all the salt and vehicle leftovers (sorry, if I ruined your day), plus, last but not least, anything that was left out on the ice during the winter is all out there.
Just a reminder that if you take anything out there bring it back with you.

HEY all thinking of bringing the kids up for some crappie fishing. Good to see u r getting some, but could someone tell me where i need to go. I do have a boat if I need to bring it. I need directions from gillford or other side thanks
