Does anyone fish for brown bullheads in the spring. I caught a few late last summer off of Gilford and was wondering if anyone targets them. In Eastern Ontario it's a big thing to go bullheadin' or mudpoutin' in the spring. Fried up in Uncle Bucks Cajun coating Yum Yum.

Yea they taste great. Try for them in May. Thats when they start spawning. Once you find them the fishing never ends. Last year my friends and I caught 50 and kept 30 off the mouth of the pefferlaw river at Holmes Pt. road. Just use worms and let it sink to the bottom and thats it.
