hey guys I recently bought the fish trap pro and took it out for the first time they other day, it works great but the nuts on the long bolts where the poles go together the nuts keep coming loose, maybe I did something wrong when assembling it together. I tryed to e-mail the Clam Corp. but no response yet.

I would take those nuts off and replace them with some stainless nyloc nuts. They never shake or rattle loose. You should be able to find them at CTC or Home Depot, probably 1/4 20 size, take one of your bolts along to be sure.

Lock tite is good where the clamping force keeps two things from moving, however, you need a bit of slack between the poles and the base, otherwise how are you going to raise and lower the poles and cover. Nyloc nuts.
