If you happen to find yourself in a white out or fog , don't try to find your way off the ice , chances are you'll get lost , seen that many times , best to stay put , hunker down , your situations will change for the better in time . Promise

Hey Peter!!! First time on the hardwater board this year. You likely don't remember me; I'm the guy that bought your King Quad from you. The machine is still going strong; not one minute of regret buying it. Once there's a bit more ice I'm thinking of bringing up the rig I put together. It's a 1992 Suzuki Sidekick that we nicknamed Sally. I built a set of tracks for the rear-drive. I also built an enclosed bobsled to tow behind the sidekick. With this setup, we plan on fishing outside; using sally for transportation out, along with the bobsled for passengers and a warm-up shack. This pic was taken alst year. we were about 5 miles out on Lake Nipissing. To add to what Peter said above. You should always have a compass with you. I have both a compass and a handheld GPS. Why both, if the GPS battery dies you still have the compass. Dan.

Patrick.
If you could keep me posted on the ice conditions, I would be honored if you could join us for a day out fishing together.
Dan.
