I finally caught some pike on the bay on Sat morning and late afternoon. Landed two small ones (24") and lost another at the boat.
I've been reading the pike this year are finicky.
How are you guys making out on the bay? Is the pike action picking up?

I was out there last Saturday morning for about 4hrs. With My Son-in-law and we only landed 9 had 1 break off. Yes it is slow this year I think its due to high water and it being "Dirty" Biggest landed was around 10lbs Find the weeds Find the fish. Play Safe Flip
P.S. All Fish were released to grow bigger.

Yup. Isolated weed growth in the comfy 6-12' range, close to deep and shallow water will get it done.

Once you learn their patterns 9 is Not a lot of fish. I was with 2 other guys on this board a few yrs ago we managed 54 in less than 5hrs. Biggest was 13lbs. There's a thread on here somewhere with pics That was a exceptional day. Play Safe Flip

Been seeing them super shallow during the night.
Tried to find em at sunrise and only had mini followers.
Gave up and saw one at our dock on the way in. Haha.
