Im reading around the internet about garbage you guys leave on the ice , i dont see any of.that in fact i think you guys respect Cooks Bay ,im also reading about how you park where you want ,i dont see that either ,i see ice fisherman wanting to enjoy the bay without being charged up the ass for parking ,here in Gilford parking is still free with areas for you to park on the street ,for the most part i see you guys respecting Gilford . Thank you for that . I cant talk about IBP as i dont hang there but if there is garbage the town should be proactive and have employes durning the day clean it up ,yes its busy but the town can only be so lucky to have you visit . The idea is to share what we have its to be enjoyed by all .

Thy been saying that for two years now and you know what Rob thinks ,i emailed him care of custumer service , it was comfirmed he got the email but had no balls to get back to me ,tells me a lot about the kind of guy he is . Reading that link you posted about visiters filling up the garbage cans is bs as its local people as i have seen many times ,visiters dont bring garbage bags only locals use them .

Just found this on web . Move to one of these places.. see how long it takes you to be sick of non locals using all the facilities and trashing them for free. If you don't like it find somewhere else to fish. you gotta pay to play. If the PRIVALEGE wasn't abused maybe things would get this way. Take a look at Gilford road on Saturday or Sunday. Cars lined up both sides of the road from 5:00am on... Imagine buying a nice retirement home close to the lake, paying your high taxes because you live close to said lake. now you can't get out of your driveway safely on the weekends because citiots are trying to use the same access YOU pay taxes on for free... Why not help ice fisherman out by renting out your driveway spots and make a couple bucks just like Dave does ,i see other locals doing that now as well .
No ones trashing anything ,theres parking on Gilford Rd ,you guys park properaly ,not sure that this guy means .

Looks like innisfil has huge changes coming. I don't have time to read thru that 269 page booklet
On the other link it says
"In the past, garbage cans would overflow with trash thrown away by visitors."
Who's fault is that Mr Rub Nechool? The town should have put out those 14ft bins years go

I use to pay for 2 washrooms at the end of Gilford Rd so you dident have piss on the side of the rd ,no one helped me with cost ,i even asked the town to toss in a couple bucks as i did ask the other opperators that set up next to me ,that fell on death ears . I been trying to do my part .

Unfortunately the little town is growing and with the luxury homes being built. The future is bleak. The home for sale by the parking lot is 1.5m it's not lakefront. Do you think the future owner wants parking headaches, we need to enjoy the area while we can. I hope there is a long term solution that our town is considering. They know they plan on removing the lot in the future. With all these changes and rapid growing population the north looks better and better.

I was there quite a few times last year during the week n witnessed the trash cans still heaped up days after the weekend. U would think the town would work to accommodate visitors to get the revenue not push them away. As for parking I saw the odd person parked where they shouldnt be but never seen a bylaw officer patrolling issuing tickets(another revenue for the town, especially after raising the tickets to $75). I do understand some of the frustration but there's gotta be a better way to approach it than they r

Unfortunate thing to see, the town is doing a disservice. If more places had people like Peter who actually do their part and then some, the world would be a much better place. Unfortunately people don't respect nature, and take things for granted

Still I cannot fathom the myopic view that fisherman are not a resource but a burden. Rich folks and the big houses getting taxed to death should appreciate fishermen and the potential for income.. I would have school buses in school parking lots charging reasonable shuttle fees to fishermen, set up flat trailors on those yellow buses for the gear.. Bus leaves when its at 3/4 or better.. Make bucks treat us well, we buy our lunch, we grab coffee and bagels and bait.. Put out garbage cans and potties with a small fraction of the income they can make so no one is making a mess. It is so insane we are not mined better not exploited, I would rather pay a fee then get ticketed or towed, I would rather park in a weekend empty school parking lot and get a ride to the lake with my Brother hard water walkers.. Hell the Burger shacks and the Coffee places can just make a killing on the thousands of extra wallets that show up. The town should take a reality pill you need money why not make it from treating us well instead of tagging our cars. Give us a place and a way to stay off the street, the bus drivers can make O.T the lots are empty anyway.. Dah money isn't a bad thing to earn for providing a service , even your rich nagging constituents will appreciate getting us off the street. . No stick your head in the sand, and look at those nasty fish killers.. If I lived up there My Boys would be shuttling and towing Huts on Bought for the purpose machines, driving men down from the available parking lots for a buck a head . and pay their tuition's with the income..
My $.02

All of Simcoe is turning into the no parking on the streets, they force you to use the tiny parking lots where they can make nice profit. its a scam inside a scam I think. Simcoe is a crown land area let us enjoy it like we have for the many past years. it costs more money to make these parking lots and pay meters plus maintenance as opposed to parking on the street. give us more places to park, they don't need to be paved and painted lots. simple gravel lot will do.

My $.02 It seems that the city and citizens would make it so hard for you to be profitable. In the brief reading I have done on this forum, it appears that Peter, a guy working hard for his own business and promoting safety and fishing for the entire area, gets grief from locals and even has trouble with ejected officials. Something needs to be done on a PR basis to improve the impression and outline the benefit the fishermen have in the community, until than they will only see the bad apples (which there are many). Just my thoughts.
