Has anyone been having luck with the pike on cooks bay. I've noticed the weeds haven't grown like they ussually do and I think this is affecting the fishing. It's been really slow and it's hard to find a place with decent vegetation and weeds. I dont know if anyone could help me out here I would appreciate it.

I think it's the heat as well...its been tough to get them to bite all over. Once it cools down it will be on fire I bet.

Yeah exactly totaly agree it's always like that. What is really weird though is the slow weed growth I mean there is hardly any weeds on cooks bay. Usually at this time of year the lake is full

Really eh that's weird it could be the lack of rain. All I know is the fishing is awful right now.
