Hello everyone, I just wanted to drop by and show a picture of my biggest catfish caught yet via shore fishing. Attached are the images of a 22.75 pound blue cat I caught in the Nottawasaga river last week. What a fun catch! It was a battle as I caught it on 10lb test so it took some time lowering the drag as it constantly felt like it would break both my rod and line. imgur.com/a/HeUIKimgur.com/a/ke9DgP.S- I created another thread if anyone ever wants to come along fishing! Best of Luck

Took 25-30 minutes. I used a basic size 3 hook and piece of shrimp. It was a nice suprise seeing how most the cats Ive caught are under 1lb.
