hi folks,
ive decided to finally launch from gilford area to fish north side of cooks bay. is there a free place to launch an inflatable safely? thank you! i looked at end of gilford rd but doesn't seem accessible.

should've clarified. i usually only fish very southern end of cooks bay. to me gilford is quite s bit more north.

Ive launched from the other side at "young harbor park" not free but quite a bit more south. Super weedy though i wont launch there again worried my electric motor will get overloaded picking up all that junk. Heres a map to youngs harbour park

You can park on street but further away from the lake though past cooksvillle marina. Think angry man won the war about that

thx king! can you park on street there? aldo any issues with mr. angry man living beside end of rd? Youngs harbour is pay parking unfortunately but lots of free parking in gilford.

Theres many end of the roads in Gilford you can launch your boat from depending on what your launching . Boats use the 89 launch , all others can use the parkets to drop your small runabouts , blowups , yaks. Still free to do so .
