Got stopped by these guys the other weekend. Well actually not stopped, they were kind enough to ride along side checking our safety equipment allowing us to keep our downrigger and long lines in the water.
Neat video on what they do and their boats. The Lefroy Daisy Mart (bait shop) owner makes an appearance on one of the boats stopped.
Check out Rogers TV on YouTube. There are many shows about fishing specifically on Lake Simcoe. Justin Girard and Cole Vardy pack a lot of information into their shows.

Sounds like you got some good ones last year I was out on Guelph lake conservation area (where there is no motors allowed) in a 12 ft aluminum. Anyways they came flying in and hit me pretty hard with there boat thought I was going to flip just to check if I had boaters license and for the rest of the day they were making big wakes super close to us for no reason. Oh well just one bad run in guess they aren't that bad.

I would be making a complaint as well that is uncalled for....not to mention they're the ones enforcing SAFETY, should know a lil about coming into contact with another boat

If it says no motorized boats that should apply to the ppl enforcing the laws.....just my opinion

It more or less just made me and the gf nervous with them coming in that hot. I do understand they're out there to do there jobs but I was going no where quick only had a trolling motor on.

Sounds like you got some good ones last year I was out on Guelph lake conservation area ( where there is no motors allowed) in a 12 ft aluminum.-------------- just to check if I had boaters license My question is the lake restricted to no motors or no gas powered motors? Big difference. Did you have an electric motor or any other motor on the boat? If you didn't have a motor than they had no grounds to ask for a PCOC.
