No luck for me today, went to Goderich only to find a swarm of ppl on the bank n wading in the water(I'd say atleast 100 ppl) stayed there for 10 mins in the only available spot, pretty well hookin ppl when I casted as they walked behind me so we left n decided to try else where. Went to benmiller n the water was too low to fish without waders to walk to the pockets. Next time i will be more prepared

Got busy for the trout openner. Discovered the boat floor was pooched for the pickeral openner. Swore floor would be done for the bass openner. The only openner I've seen so far this year is the one in the kitchen drawer for openning stubburn brown pops.

Forgot to mention he was let go to catch another day, quick pic after I got both trebles out since he inhaled the cottencordell n off he went. Rarely do I keep bass especially from the lil inland lake I was at today cuz I would like to see it keep a healthy population n enjoy goin there

My best bass from the Border City Classic kayak fishing tournament (Lake St. Clair) this past weekend was a 18.25" smallmouth. Not even close to the big bass for the tournament though...

Usually he gets bored pretty quick and we end up going to do something else but this year is the first time i've had to tear him away from fishing. "Come on Dad just one more cast" Brought a big smile to my face

7 smallies.... Out of those, a 4 pounder and a 4.5 pounder. Also grabbed a beauty 7 pound pickerel... All in all a great opener.
