Although we have many friends here from south of the border in all honesty how are we as Canucks supposed to know ? To most of us a wiggler is a worm but you want a defined legal definition to cross the border with , ? You would believe and trust anyone that much ? Were good folk but not that good lol We think they are worms and you say they are nymphs etc If its that questionable and you want to use resource then maybe shop and support our local people Trust me there is no live bait available stateside that is soooooi much better than local .Buy your live bait where you fish Support local economy as they support you . TD

TD Merry Christmas to you! This topic has nothing to do with who's bait is better. They are Nympths NOT worms. It comes to if you Even carry Wigglers, the same Wigglers. Don't think so and why buy minnows from your bait stores when I can bring salted blue shiners for a small fraction to your cost. My passport, accomodations, gas/groceries and other stuff purchased while there, what that's not paying my fair share?? I think so. I personally have been to Beautiful lake Simcoe 7 times and it's amazing place. Many family members and friends have spent $ Thousands!! Probably more than some of your own locals.

seeknfish not saying your not sending your far share here but, I don't see how paying for your passport contributes to our province as those fees go to the US government. Although I'm not saying this is your case but I've seen some US residents spend only the minimum they have to here. Bring in all their food, drinks & gas. Other than an Ontario Fishing Licence some spend absolutely no money in Ontario for a day trip to Lake Simcoe.

I or we stay at least 3-4 days at a time. Can't speak for the rest from The US or Canada but I/we in my group Pay our way.

Always one that is self centered and the world is just them . Yes RED WIGGLERS are worms . Talk to the show that stops you at the border to find out what your allowed to bring across as they will make the call . You want to utilize OUR RESOURCE but not support the local baitshops that support the RESOURCE you wish to use ?. Who are you to question me about what the topic is about or should be ?. Are you really that special because you have a passport ?. Maybe you want REFUGEE status next . LOL TD

I am not here to argue about any topic. Just a Sportsman looking to fellow Sportsmen for info on what is legal and what is not. How is that being self-centered. I never had no gold spoon in my mouth, have you? I have earned a paycheck since I was 14, worked ever since. Served my time in the Marine Corp, United States Military! Married for 29yrs with three beautiful children. Just so you have an idea that I am not just the average joe looking for a hand out. Thanks for being a fellow SPORTSMAN and helping out.

Seek fish, I still haven't found any information about bringing wigglers into Canada from the states. 16 of us will be coming up February 5th and staying in peters cabins for 3 nights. I will make some phone calls in the next week or so and I'll let you know what I found out.
Fish on, Bobby
