I m going to tell you right now,,,you won’t find coverage of Cook’s Bay any better then right here… When I saw open water when there was more then 10” of ice just yesterday im thinking to my self…as I bet you guy’s are as well…some ones smiling down on us all…lol… I m not 100% sure that’s not water sitting on top of the ice…but with the wind the way it was howling last night and the pile of ice I can see on the other side of Cook’s I’d say…fishing this weekend…ya baby…..lol Welcome to the new Cook's Bay Fishing Board...... Wow, is that open water i see? 1 week ago from today, I was siiting out there on 12". Amazing how quickly things can change. Thanx for the updates Peter and im lovin the new board. FG

Are you loving this as well …lol…I certainly am. Here’s a picture of the end of 89,,,,will be a popular place this summer that’s for sure.. Wide open as of now but any wind and you never know,,,

Holy Toledo!!! I called the Marina operator where my boat is moored and there is still ice up there!!! Peter, I may have to rent one from ya until the Marina clears lol

Peter , are any of the marinas open on the west side.?Like Dantes said if the marinas arew froze then no where to launch. I tried the end of gilford rd. Not friendly for a bass boat
