Have you ever fished Rondeau Bay. I here they are catching perch and walleye there. It is only 100 kms from London instead of driving 225 kms. to Cooks Bay.

yes but that's not really an answer to the question at hand.

yes but that's not really an answer to the question at hand. It's the middle of a freezing cold winter with almost no temperatures above 0. If the ice is safe on Lake Erie take a guess how it is up north. The question at hand was 100% unnecessary at this point of the ice fishing season, of course the ice is still safe. If you bothered spending 2 minutes reading instead of asking you would of found out the answer to your minnow question a couple of threads below what you posted! "Mar 4, 2019 at 9:07am Post by chachi1984 on Mar 4, 2019 at 9:07am the general store is $10 per scoop for pin heads but you get a lot true north is $8 per scoop but way better minnows, also get a mix of bigger ones. " So sorry for initiating a friendly conversation with a fellow ice fisherman!! Enjoy your almost 3 hr. drive to catch a few dinks!!

Plenty of ice on cooks, your good to go, watch out for forming pressure cracks with the warm weather coming

Why would i drive 2 plus hrs to look there when i see open water daily driving my son to dover for school. This was never about or to you fynygin!!! You obviously wouldn't drive there and who cares what you would or wouldn't do!!! When was the last time you talked to someone who lives in Shrewsbury? When I made that post I had just finished a conversation with a friend who does and he over looks the bay. He informed me huts were still out and people were catching perch and walleye!!
pasnydes posted this "thinking of cooks bay but any safe ice will do." He is from London, just over an hour away from Rondeau Bay and I was just suggesting it may be a place for him to try!!! P.S. FYI fynygin. I just talked to my friend from Shrewsbury again. Guess what? They are still fishing on Rondeau Bay!!!

Cut the crap fellas. Fishing must be pretty poor this year if all you guys have to do is smart ass each other. Let it go. How about posting some fish pics instead of being so ornery. I've been out of commission with hip replacement surgery and was hoping to fish vicariously through you guys but the content on this board has been sadly lacking

For me fishing has been great this year. It is good to know that an ornery and currently non fisherman is the one I am supposed to listen to about what I should post. P.S. I hope your hip surgery went well and you get back to fishing soon.
