Anyone have any updates on what the surface conditions of the ice are like? I know there was a bit of snow that came down yesterday, not sure how much rain came afterwards and wether it turned to slush or not. Planning a trip on sat and would like to know whether I should bring the quad or sled, thanks

Dont know about Cooks but IBP is looking pretty slick still. Not much snow cover. Since some sleds overheat if theres not enough snow i would stick with ATV for now

was out yesterday hammering the perch in 23 feet of water.....there was no snow on the ice lots of wind and water that was freezing a thick crust....should be frozen today and very slippery, don't forget to bring your spikes for your boots it was a life saver yesterday made the long walk out easy
