Dec 3rd ice watch .
Here is a video of what your going to have to deal with accessing the ice at the end of Gilford Rd , if i had it my way , id rather see the gate then what you see it the pic . pretty sure snow plows are not going to help this area , just bulid it up with snow , not keep it open .

Someone made a good point , how would first responseders access the end of Gilford Rd, guess they don't , lucky for us , not . This liabilite would fall on the town of Innisfil , should anything were to happen to anyone of us summer or winter south end of the bay , people could die waiting on first responders should access be blocked and thy have to find another location to get on the ice or water , thats fk'd up .

The main opening is 58 inches wide. Nice... I was wondering how wide it was... sleds and quads can fit through... anyone towing anything wider will have to use the launch

I feel like the snow snows will come down the road make the turn and the snow will pile up at the end, then after a few good snow falls and the cold weather it will pile up and freeze. That opening with be blocked . Think about when the plow goes by your driveway and leaves a good size snow bank, leave it for a few weeks and see what happens

The path will be traveled frequently by people everyday. When has a pile of snow ever stopped ice fisherman?

Keswick side is froze as far as I can see. With these cold temps coming in it won't be long now. But ALWAYS PLAY SAFE AND DON'T GO OUT YET Play safe flip
