Howdy all, Starting to accept bowfishing and evening bookings for carp fishing charters. Bowfishing charters will be early morning during the spawn to maximize your shooting opportunities with a small group of only 1-2 guests. We will be collecting deposists on bowfishing charters and will reach out to people once they start rolling. Evening shorefishing will last 3-4hrs right at dusk with non stop action during the summer season. Maximum 3 per evening. Give me a text for more details 226-218-4638

Yup, people do eat 'em. We have. Can't say there is really one way to prepare, we have seasoned and baked ours. The white meat tastes better than the red to me.

Methinks this would be lots of fun . Having Gail show you up shooting carp , not so much fun . TD It's a hoot. It can be a challenge, but it's an extremely target rich environment so you will always get plenty of shots off. What a rush hand lining in a 20lb+ carp you just stuck.

Towards the end, this guy teaches u how to prepare 2 dishes from invasive carp, but I'm pretty sure that all carp species taste almost alike

Slots are filling up for bowfishing charters. Will contact those that submitted deposits to arrange dates once we confirm rolling fish.
Anyone interested drop us a line. Might be able to squeeze in a few more weekend slots, definitely space available during weekdays.
Added some new bow set ups to the arsenal, and can accommodate a lefty.
We are wide open for night time carp shore fishing. It's our favourite way to finish off the day. The carp are huge and plentiful here. One evening with us will show you everything you need to get it done on your own down the road.

On a regular night fish sighting tour last night we observed our first lot of carp. Thousands of carp actually with bowfin piled up in slightly cooler water.
They weren't rolling, but will be any day now for sure.
Those with deposits expect contact today or tomorrow to set up dates.
We will likely have room for a few more morning bowfishing outings during the spawn if anyone is intetested.

Ask and you shall receive Seahawk! Man what a tough day on the water! Planned an easy day targetting carp by bow only to find mother nature had other plans. Water temps dropped drasitcally overnight shutting down carp movement and feeding. All we were left with was the mud stirred up from their busy night, before they went lock jaw. We were forced after several hours to give up on our normal target rich areas. Lucky for us George Bellinaso suggested a move to a hole that ended up providing for the afternoon. Not bad for his first time out! We finished the day off with plenty of missed shots and three in the boat. These rookies learned quickly, bagging their first carp in less than 15 shots each. Kevin's(yellow floater suit) weighed in at 22.35lbs! Thanks for comming out Kevin and George. Was a blast to be part of your new experience. I can only assume you are as hooked on bowfishing as we are at Hot Box Huts! Message us if we can help you to shoot your first carp.

Got on top of them during a morning shoot today. Found hundreds of them and the stirred up mud made for difficult shooting. Happy to see Mark who's a bass guy, shoot his first carp. Younger Hannah showed some sharp shooting skills narrowly missing several airborn carp.

Do ur clients take the fish home or donate them to the pooch? With a bow. That spear is almost useless. Has no holding power. Best spear is an arrow fixed to something long. One group kept all the fish. I think it was to be used for bear bait. Either way, nothing goes to waste around here!
