Hi all: My name is Duane, I live in Toronto. I just started ice fishing the Cooks Bay area a couple years ago - so lots to learn. Nice to see a site just focused on CB. Good job on the site - I like the video report.

Hey.... Just wanted to say hello for the first time on this board, very nice i might add!!\ My name is Kevin, and i'm from Cambridge Ont. i'll visit Cooks bay 7-8 times throughout the hard water season. I've only been fishing Cooks for 4-5 yrs, but have become familliar with the west side of Lake Simcoe. Met Peter a few times, however i don't usually say much. My nic-name comes from the "G-Loomis" blank -im6- (old school 13' custom float rod) and its "for-me" anyway.... I'll see you guys in a week or so, thanks for having me aboard! Kevin

Hi Pete : My name is Jerry & I live in Alma ,north of Guelph. I have fished Simcoe for over 35 yrs: some yrs. more often than others. I enjoy the info on the CBFB & log in on a daily basis. Can't get the video to load though- I get only the audio - I'm computer challanged. Anyone got any suggestions? Good fishing to all this weekend. See you next week, weather permitting

hello peter, took your advice and joined the board, we caught lots of perch yesterday, no jumbos, kept enough 9"ers to have a delicious dinner today!Once again your minnows did the trick. From Port Elgin, will make the drive every week. Met a top notch fisherman on the ice yesterday, he offered very good tips and helped us to catch more fish. I guess thats part of the board and a Cooks Bay fisherman!

Hi Peter Just joined your site. We have met a few times in the past but you probably remember me best as the guy with the Gold Dodge Ram that pulled out the ATV from the lake last March one road over. I'll be coming up from Kitchener to drill some holes this Tuesday. See you then.

Welcome all new members. This board being the best is growing at such a rapid rate and is the place to go for info on Cooks Bay and now also the main lake. Don't be shy people and lets have some fishing reports on how your fishing trips are on Lake Simcoe and Cooks Bay. Don't forget to stop by Peter's bait shack at the end of Gilford road for the best minnows around. Good Fishing All
